I am Milos Cvijanovic, for most people known under nickname "Cvijan".
Few years back I started my photography journey, I always loved
deep thinking and philosophy so I incorporated those same thoughts into my work.
Inspired by documentary works of Sebastiao Salgado (would advise to look up) and many other
documentary photographers I felt an artistic need to, through my photos, write stories about the lives of people.
As always in life you only have a plan but life actually picks one for you, so on my current path
I am tasked with documenting beautiful stories of couples from anywhere in the world.
I love to work, those same qualities apply when I photograph.
I like to say I always want to give 100% and more, never less.
I am not scared of tears, sadness, happiness, smiles or rough moments, I actually crave them.
Because every one of those is worth capturing.

Hi, I am Alexander.
I always loved cinema and films.
I didn't really think that I would one day be the one making them.
I fell in love with capturing motion and stories in a form that captures more.
I see that moment, but, what's next?
It is a question I always pondered about.
People say I am charismatic, I say they are right.
I like to take chances and innovate, there is no strange or unknown, i am always out and exploring.
I love good cinema and will gladly watch a quality film, especially if it helps me move forward
both in work and as person, drawing inspiration from them i give myself all in to capture
a movie that is just yours.

What is cviart?

This is a tough one.
When i started my photography journey i wanted to present myself as something more than
"Milos Cvijanovic photography" or similar cliché.
My nickname Cvijan meant a lot to me, why you may ask, it was my late grandfather's name.
We were incredibly close and this journey started little after his death.
So by combining my nickname Cvijan and seeing myself as artist rather than just a person with a camera
I came up with the idea to present myself as such.

CVI + ART

Alexander was not an initial part of this. We both were childhood friends, we meet and danced
together Serbian folk dances for about 15 years.
I never thought I would find in him someone I did in the sense of art.
Turned out he is actually gifted and interested in videography so our journey together began.
Knowing me and how much meaning of the name meant to me he agreed that we keep working under it.
So today we are a team. Two young men dedicated to documenting the world.
